Project Superintendent

REQUIREMENTS

​

  • Represent Country Girl Gardens in a professional manner at all times

​

  • Be the main point of contact with client’s whose jobs you are assigned to

​

  • Build and maintain a trusting and ongoing relationship with your assigned clients

​

  • Manage 1 to 3 crews at a time, ensuring they have specific and accurate directions, all the tools and equipment necessary, and appropriate manpower to complete the job in the time allotted

​

  • Help crews whenever and however necessary to complete the job at or above standards

​

  • Communicate with clients regularly to ensure that all their expectations are being met and always complete a final walk through before closing the job

​

  • Manage the entire scope of the projects you are assigned to, including design and layout, materials, and equipment

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

​

  • Must possess at least 5 years of landscaping experience- including, but not limited to: basic irrigation, low voltage lighting and wiring, familiarity with hardscapes

​

  • Minimum of 1 year management experience- the ideal candidate is able to efficiently delegate tasks and operations in order to see the job through to completion, while providing exceptional customer service and adaptability to overcome unforeseen situations

​

  • Must be able to operatie basic truck and trailer setup, including accurately backing a trailer

​

  • CDL or heavy equipment operation a plus, but not necessary

​

  • Possess a driver’s license and a have a clean driving record

​

  • Must be able to continuously lift 80+ pounds

Landscape Foreman

RESPONSIBILITIES

​

  • Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality.

​

  • Making sure things are done accurately and to the satisfaction of the customer.

​

  • Assessing progress and making recommendations.

​​

  • Completing inventory checks and Equipment inspections

​

  • Communicating with customers.

​

  • Assist Project Superintendent in purchasing Plant and/or hardscape materials.

​

  • Responsible for Quality control.

​

  • Load and unload trucks with equipment and material needed for Job.

​

  • Oversee and assist crew in loading and unloading efficiency

​

PREFERRED SKLLS

​

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background. 

​

  • Highly motivated self-driven individual who is detail oriented.

​

  • Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.

​

  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in Landscaping.

​

  • Reading plans, bed layout, plant identification and installation.

  • The ability to manage crew and document job costs.

  • Have advanced landscape construction knowledge.

MEMBERs

FLOWERBED MAINTENANCE CREW:

​

  • This is a great opportunity for someone interested in horticulture to gain or enhance one’s experience in all areas of landscaping and flower bed maintenance.

​

  • It is preferred that applicants are familiar with characteristics of plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees and can spot the difference between a flower and a weed. It is also preferred that applicants have an interest in or knowledge of plant health care.

​

  • Applicant will assist with maintenance of shop, tools, and trucks.

​

  • Must communicate well with clients and coworkers and be a team player.

​

  • Primary Duties: Prune ornamental trees and shrubs. Flower bed maintenance and renovation, Applying appropriate fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, And Plant installation

 

 

PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION CREW:

​

  • Represent Country Girl Gardens in a professional manner at all times

​

  • Follow verbal and/or written instructions from the Project Foreman

​

  • Properly and safely operate equipment, including skid steers, excavators, dingo’s, trenchers, concrete saw etc

​

  • Seek to master the skill of landscape design and/or construction

​

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and up to company standards

​

  • Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies and safety procedures

​

  • Install new sprinkler systems, including micro irrigation

​

  • Build retaining walls paver patios

​

  • Install trees, shrubs, sod and other landscaping vegetation
